Bihar Announces 10 Major Education Reforms Amid Student Protests

Bihar government launched 10 education reforms to help students and improve school standards. Free JEE and NEET coaching will now be available at all 155 model schools in the state. From August 15, students can get online study support until 11 pm.

Under Saat Nischay-3, the government set aside Rs 430.08 crore for the Kushal Yuva Programme. This training now includes AI, drone technology, and digital marketing. Also, the Student Credit Card scheme continues for another five years with a budget of Rs 950 crore.

Other steps include starting a Student Welfare Directorate and raising the number of model schools to 1,001. A new chairperson for the BSSC has also been named to improve exam clarity.
