Bihar Achieves Milestone of 50 Lakh Lakhpati Didis

Bihar is the first state in India to have 50 lakh Lakhpati Didis. Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary shared this update at the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana event in Patna.

Money help reached 1.81 crore women to support their businesses. Figures show 37 per cent of these women put money into animal husbandry, and 18 per cent started work in agriculture. Today, three lakh Jeevika Didis earn more than Rs 2 lakh each year.

New monitoring plan

Government officials will start a tracking system to watch the progress of these women. This scheme helps women become money-independent through self-help groups and work opportunities. It matches other women welfare schemes started by the government.
