Amit Shah Reviews 12 Years of Agricultural Reforms

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah spoke in Alwar. He explained the farm and livestock schemes launched by the government between 2014 and 2026. He said these are the main part of how India's villages are growing.
Shah listed key schemes from these years. These include:
- Gokul Mission (2014)
- Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (2015)
- PM Fasal Bima Yojana (2016)
- Kisan Sampada Yojana (2017)
- PM-KISAN (2019)
- Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (2020)
- Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (2025)
He also pointed out that creating the Ministry of Cooperation in 2021 was a big step.
MSP and crop support
The Minister said that buying grain at Minimum Support Price (MSP) has reached record levels. He shared details on the MSP hikes for different crops:
- Bajra: 130%
- Mustard: 103%
- Wheat: 84%
- Cotton: 120%
- Jowar: 168%
