Amit Shah Launches Major Development Projects and DBT in Rajasthan

Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Alwar on August 16 to launch several welfare schemes. He started the DBT payment programme for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and the Crop Insurance Scheme. During the event, he gave appointment letters to 10,580 youths and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth over ₹6,260 crore.

Government welfare plans

The Minister mentioned the GYAN vision of the government. This focuses on helping the poor, youth, farmers, and women. He also announced that Alwar Medical College will be named after former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Four new Saras Dairy plants and four district-level cooperative banks also started to help farmers with zero-interest loans. In total, foundation stones were laid for projects worth ₹11,953 crore across the state in a single day.
