PM-DDKY score improves 16.31 points

Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan looked at how PM-DDKY is moving forward at a meeting in New Delhi on September 1, 2026. The scheme covers 100 identified districts.

The average district score across six objectives went up from 22.54 in April 2026 to 38.85 in July 2026, a gain of 16.31 points.

The scheme works through the combined effort of 36 Central schemes from 11 Ministries and Departments, along with state schemes and private participation. Progress is tracked with 121 indicators, 74 for output and 47 for outcome.
