158 Remote Andhra Pradesh Villages to Get Road Connectivity

Rural connectivity in Andhra Pradesh is improving. A total of 158 remote villages and hamlets will get road access under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). This project uses an investment of ₹422 crore to build 146 roads spanning 347 km along with 19 bridges.

Project details and funding

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan confirmed that the government finished administrative sanctions. The state also set aside an extra ₹24.47 crore to make sure these roads stay in good condition for the next five years. This scheme helps communities in districts like Alluri Sitarama Raju and Parvathipuram Manyam get better access to healthcare and education.

The government is making high-quality construction a top priority to help these roads last for years. This work builds on the earlier Adavi Thalli Bata program which connected various hilltop areas.
