[Apply] UP Mission Rojgar Yojana 2024 Online Registration – 50 Lakh Employment Opportunities (Rozgar) to Jobless Youths

UP Mission Rojgar Yojana 2024 was launched by the Uttar Pradesh government on 5 December 2020. In this Uttar Pradesh Mission Rozgar 2024, the state govt. will provide 50 lakh employment opportunities to jobless youths till March 2021. The new job scheme for educated unemployed candidates will be targeted at largely those who lost their jobs during COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. The new programme aims to train and skill people in order to provide them with job as per their qualification.

UP Mission Rojgar Yojana 2024 Apply

CM Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh govt. will start implementing UP Mission Rojgar in the state on a warfooting basis. There is a need to implement Mission Rozgar due to economic slowdown caused by Coronavirus. The UP state govt. has targeted to provide jobs to 50 lakh youths in this employment scheme in the next 4.5 months. A special programme on apprenticeship would also be organized under this Mission Rozgar 2024.

Mission Rojgar Yojana Online Registration Form

In order to secure a job in UP Mission Rojgar Yojana, applicants will have to apply online at the respective official websites of private companies. All the unemployed youth can fill UP Mission Rojgar Yojana Online Registration Form to get a job. A dedicated portal for this mission is proposed but has not been formulated yet. As soon the official website becomes functional, we will update it here.

Eligibility Criteria for UP Mission Rojgar Yojana

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
  • Only those youth of the state who are unemployed will be considered eligible under this scheme.
  • Applicants who have lost their jobs during the corona virus pandemic outbreak are also eligible.

Employment Opportunities in UP Mission Rozgar Yojana

Through this Mission Rozgar Campaign, unemployed youth and those who have lost their jobs in the past few months will get a chance to apply for jobs. Youths would be able to fill application / registration form for jobs in government departments, councils, corporations, among others. The UP state government will also collaborate with the private sector for job creation.

Official Data of Unemployed Youths

As per the official government data, UP had about 34 lakh unemployed persons till February 2020. In the first few months of the nation-wide COVID-19 lockdown, around 40 lakh persons had returned to UP from various states where they had been employed. At-least half of the returnee migrants are skilled, semi-skilled or unskilled labour. The state govt. has directed the officials to finalise the action plan for rolling out the UP Mission Rojgar Scheme. Under the Mission Rozgar, the UP government would also help people become self-employed, linking it with the Atma Nirbhar Bharat scheme of the Centre.

CS mentioned that “A detailed action plan will be prepared by departments concerned for the implementation of the campaign which includes skill training, appointments, issuing permissions, allocation of land and data collection. We are targeting to enable 50 lakh youth for employment and self-employment by the end of this financial year”.

Employment Help Desk for Jobless Youths

The Chief Secretary of the UP govt. has said that an “Employment Help Desk” should be set up in every department and in all organisations. An employment help desk will be set up in every government office where details of programs related to employment, self-employment and skills training being run by that particular department will be made available. The Job help desk will even provide information about the various employment programmes being run by various departments and possible job openings.

Creation of Database of Job Opportunities

UP state govt. is committed to create / maintain a database of employment opportunities for youths under UP Mission Rojgar. For this purpose, an app and a web portal are being developed by the Directorate of Training and Employment. The budget for this work will be made available by the labour department. It will be the responsibility of a nodal officer, nominated by each department, authority, corporation etc to update the data from their particular department on the app and portal. Data related to employment will be updated on the portal every fortnight.

Job Fairs in UP Mission Rojgar Yojana Campaign

All directorates, corporations, boards, commissions, etc have been directed to appoint a nodal officer to keep track of the progress and coordinate between various stakeholders. The Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner has been appointed to oversee and coordinate the UP Mission Rojgar campaign while a high level committee headed by the CS will monitor the campaign monthly.

In each district, a committee under the chairmanship of the district magistrate will be set up to prepare an action plan for implementing the scheme at the district level. Simultaneously, the Directorate of Training and Employment, in collaboration with private industries, will organize employment fairs and resolve all pending recruitment cases. Departments will organize workshops and awareness programmes to enable self-employment. Simultaneously, vacant posts in all departments will also be filled by running special campaigns.

Launch of UP Mission Rojgar Yojana 2024 by CM Yogi Adityanath

As part of the Mission, Chief minister Yogi Adityanath will issue appointment letters to 37,000 newly selected assistant teachers of primary schools during UP Mission Rojgar launch programme. The ceremony will be held virtually and the CM would be interacting with some of the newly appointed teachers. Appointment letters have already been issued to 31,277 assistant teachers at a ceremony held on October 16, 2020 while 3,317 assistant teachers of secondary schools were issued appointment letters on October 23. The appointment of the remaining 37,000 teachers out of total 69,000 was cleared by the Supreme Court last month.

Chief secretary RK Tiwari said that under Mission Rozgar, government departments, voluntary organizations, corporations, councils, boards and local bodies would coordinate to create opportunities of employment and self- employment through skill training and apprenticeship. Development authorities will be playing an especially important role in this process through allocation of land, issuing licenses and granting clearances.

The CS office has issued a detailed guidelines to the chairperson of the Revenue Board, the agriculture production commissioner, infrastructure and industrial development commissioner, additional chief secretaries, principal secretaries, secretaries, HoDs, divisional commissioners and district magistrates regarding the launch of Mission Rozgar from 5 Dec 2020.
