GCRT Solar Power Plant: Haryana government has announced Rooftop Solar Plant Subsidy Scheme 2024 and the applications are being invited through online mode at www.hareda.gov.in. The motive of this Solar Power Plant Scheme is to motivate the people to choose for green energy. The Department of Renewable Energy is responsible for formulating policies and programmes necessary for renewable sources of energy in the State.

The objective of the Haryana Rooftop Solar Panel Subsidy scheme is to promote green building design for efficient use of energy in housing, commercial and industrial sector. Installation of solar power plant is mandatory in certain categories of buildings in Haryana to increase the capacity of solar power energy for energy security.

Rooftop Solar Plant Scheme has a target to add grid connected solar power generation of 3000 MW by 2017 and 20,000 MW by 2022. Annual capacity of insolation in state is 4.6 kWh/m2/day. The solar panel subsidy project is aimed at fighting with the climate change issue and motivate to develop the green energy.

Apply Online for Rooftop Solar Plant Subsidy Scheme 2024

People in Haryana can apply online for rooftop solar plant installation through the official website of Haryana Renewable Energy department at www.hareda.gov.in. Below is the complete procedure to fill the online application form:-

STEP 1: Visit the official website at https://hareda.gov.in/
STEP 2: Click on the “Apply Online – For Solar Power Plant” banner present on the left side of the page.

STEP 3: In the new opened window, click at the “Apply Now” button as shown below:-

STEP 4: This will redirect you to the Antyodaya Saral Portal Login page at https://saralharyana.gov.in/ as shown below.

STEP 5: At this page, click at the “New User ? Register here” link to open the Haryana Solar Power Plant online registration form 2024 as shown below.

STEP 6: Fill in all the details in the Haryana Solar Power Plant online registration form. Afterwards, applicants can make “Login” using e-mail ID and password. In the new window, click at “Apply for Services” link and then click at “View All Available Services” link.

Step 7: In the “Search” option, type solar. Then select service as “GCRT Solar Power Plant” to open the Haryana Solar Power Plant online application form.

STEP 8: Applicants can fill in all the details accurately in the opened apply online form such as category of applicant, aadhaar card, mobile no., PAN / TAN no., e-mail ID and even have to upload aadhar card.

Finally applicants will have to submit the Haryana Rooftop Solar Plant online application form 2024.

Subsidy under Rooftop Solar Power Plant Subsidy Scheme in Haryana

The state government is providing 40% of benchmark cost as subsidy for solar plants upto 3 Kw and 20% subsidy for solar plants b/w 3 Kw to 10 Kw under the scheme. The maximum subsidy per KWp is Rs. 20000 for all residential, institutional and social sector.

1. Identity Proof (both): PAN Card, Aadhaar Card
