कन्यादान योजना (धारा 22(1)(h)): Haryana Labour Department has launched Kanyadan Yojna (कन्यादान योजना) to provide assistance to labourers on the occasion of their daughter’s marriage. Under Haryana Kanyadan Yojana, all the registered labourers with BOCW Board will get financial aid of Rs. 51,000 as Kanya Daan on wedding of their daughters. Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Board is providing an amount of Rs. 51000 as Kanyadan to registered labourers for their daughter’s marriage. This Haryana Kanyadan Yojana amount is given by the labor department for the marriage of upto 3 daughters of a single family. The labourers can avail this aid as Kanya daan only for their daughter’s marriage not on their son’s marriage. This amount is in addition to the Rs. 50,000 assistance under Haryana Labour Welfare Board Marriage Assistance Scheme.

पंजीकृत श्रमिक की बेटी के विवाह की व्यवस्था हेतु बोर्ड द्वारा 50,000/- रूपये की वित्तीय  सहायता भी प्रदान की जाती है, जिसके लिए अलग से आनलाईन आवेदन करना अनिवार्य है।अतः लाभार्थी की सुपुत्री की शादी पर 51,000 (कन्यादान योजना) + 50,000 (बच्चों की शादी पर वित्तीय सहायता (सुपुत्री)) = 1,01,000/- रूपये प्रदान किये जाते हैं।

It is important to note that only registered labourers with BOCW Board in Haryana can apply for Kanyadan Yojna. Moreover, the marriage must be registered under the Marriage Registration Act. In addition to this, both the bride and bridegroom must also have attained the legal age of marriage.

How to Get Benefits of Kanyadaan Yojana in Haryana

All the candidates can avail benefits of Kanyadaan Yojana in Haryana by following the certain conditions:-

• Laborer must be registered and must have minimum one year of membership.
• The marriage card and application form must be certified from any gazetted officer.
• The age proof of bride and bridegroom (self attested copy) must be attached. For bride, the minimum age of marriage is 18 years while the minimum age of marriage of bridegroom is 21 years.
• Marriage Registration Certificate is compulsory.
• Moreover, applicants must produce marriage registration certificate along with other documents within 1 year of marriage.

Applicant must also make self declaration that he has not availed any further assistance from any other board/ dept./ corporation and will never do so..
