PM Modi Minority Scholarship Scheme

Pradhan Mantri Narendra Modi has announced a new scholarship yojana for students belonging to minorities. Under this PM Modi Minority Scholarship Scheme, central govt. will provide scholarships to around 5 crore minority students (including 50% girls) in the next 5 years. Padho Badho campaign to create mass awareness on education would also be launched to prove center to be a govt. of authority, justice & integrity.

The scholarships under PM Modi Minority Scholarship Scheme would be given for pre-matric, post-matric, professional & technical course studies. Central govt. lead by PM Modi is a dispensation committed to “samaveshi vikas, sarvsparshi vishwas (inclusive growth with trust)”.

All the girls from minority communities who have dropped out of school will be linked to education and employment through “bridge courses” from reputed educational institutions of the country.

In order to ensure socio-economic and educational empowerment of minorities particularly girls through 3Es – Education, Employment & Empowerment, govt. will start PM Modi Minority Scholarship Scheme. Various scholarships including pre-matric, post-matric, merit-cum-means etc would be provided to 5 crore students in next 5 years. These scholarships would include more than 10 lakh Begum Hazrat Mahal girls scholarship in upcoming 5 years for economically weaker sections.

Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme for Minorities would create an atmosphere of healthy inclusive growth by eliminating the disease of communalism and appeasement politics. Bridge courses from reputed educational institutions will start for drop-out school girls belonging to minority communities.

PM Madrassa Programme 2019-2020

All the madrassa teachers across the country will be given training by various institutions in mainstream subjects such as Hindi, English, Maths, Science and Computer. PM Madrassa Programme 2019-2020 would enable these teachers to impart mainstream education to the madrassa students. The madrassa programme will be launched in the month of July 2019.

Under Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK), govt. is already constructing schools, colleges, ITIs, polytechnics, girls hostels, gurukul-type residential schools and common service centres in areas devoid of infrastructure.

Padho Badho Awareness Campaign by PM Modi

The central govt. will also launch “Padho Badho” awareness campaign to encourage education particularly girls from minority communities. The main focus is on those areas where people does not send their children to schools due to socio-economic reasons.

Padho Badho campaign will primarily focus on girls and will include Nukkad Natak (street plays), short films and cultural programmes. This campaign is going to be launched in 60 minority concentrated districts of the country in the 1st phase.

The Indian govt. would also provide free coaching for competitive exams like central and state administrative services, banking services, staff selection commission, railways. All the people belonging to EWS category from minority communities like Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists and Parsis would be eligible.
