Himachal Pradesh Govt. is going to launch a new scheme named “Yuva Aajeevika Yojana” for Self Employment. Under this scheme, govt. will provide an interest subsidy of 5% on Loans upto Rs. 30 Lakh to unemployed youths. This scheme will focus on job creation and will provide employment opportunities to berojgar youths. All the jobless candidates can avail this loan amount for any work of their choice.
In this Youth Livelihood Mission, any entrepreneur will get 5% interest subsidy for 3 years on an investment upto Rs. 30 lakhs. For this purpose, govt. has allocated a budget of Rs. 75 crore.
Panchayati Raj Department has already prepared the guidelines and has sent it to the state govt. for approval. After approval, the state govt. will implement this scheme across the state.
HP Yuva Aajeevika Yojana for Self Employment – Eligibility for Loan
Govt. has fixed the age limit for the candidates to avail Yuva Aajeevika Yojana benefits. All the candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:-
- This scheme is applicable for all unemployed youths b/w age group of 18 to 35 years.
- Applicant must be permanent resident of Himachal Pradesh.
- There is no restriction on any beneficiary from either rural or urban area. Beneficiaries from both areas will have similar advantages.
- This scheme will cover all the unemployed youths and there will be no discrimination on the basis of caste, colour, religion etc.
Govt. will provide 5% interest subsidy on loans upto Rs. 30 lakh to unemployed youths for next 3 years.
Works for which Rs. 30 Lakh Loan For Self Employment will be Given
Any beneficiary can take loans easily from banks to start their own business. This loan will be given as an encouragement for youths to become Retailers, Shop Owners and to start their own Dhaba, Restaurant, Tour Operator, Adventure Tourism and Traditional Crafts work.
Stamp Duty on purchase of Private Land is now reduced to 3% from previous 6%. Now if any person purchase land to start his / her own work, then he has to pay stamp duty at only 3%. Except Land and House Investment, govt. will provide 30% gratuity to 25% women on taking loans of upto Rs. 30 lakh with an interest subsidy of 5% for 3 years.
