The central government along with Lucky Grahak Yojana has also launched Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana for merchants to encourage them for use of digital payment methods. Both the schemes will begin on Christmas Day, i.e. 25th December and daily, weekly and mega cashback awards of worth Rs. 340 Crore would be distributed to the consumers.
Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana award scheme is for merchants who accepts payments through digital modes of payments after Demonetization announced on 8th November. The scheme will cover transactions between Rs. 50 to Rs. 3000 to encourage poor, middle class and small businesses for cashless payments.
Prizes Under Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana
Merchants and traders accepting payments through digital modes will have a chance to win Rs. 50,000, Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 2,500 weekly. Under the Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana, a total of 7000 merchants and traders will be selected as winners through lucky draw of transaction ID’s
Mega prizes under Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana will be announced on 14th April next year, the prizes would be
1st Prize: Rs. 50 Lakh
2nd Prize: Rs. 25 Lakh
3rd Prize: Rs. 12 Lakh
