Haryana Government is inviting applications for grant of license from colonizers/builders/developers under the Deen Dayal Jana Awas Yojana affordable plotted housing policy – 2016. The applications can be made to the implementing agency, Town and Country Planning, Haryana by 30th June 2016.
Affordable Plotted Housing Policy 2016 for low & medium potential towns was released by the state Government in February this year. Under the Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana, the state government aims to provide affordable residential housing units to one lakh citizens in the state.
Interested real estate builders or developers can apply for the grant of license for construction of homes under this policy. The scheme is applicable in all cities and towns of the state except Sohna, Gwalpahari, Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat, Panipat and Panchkula periphery.
Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana
The state government is promoting the policy with the tagline “Apna Awas – Sukhad Awas” for the end consumers. The actual housing unit buyers and developers are given many financial benefits under the scheme to make it truly affordable such as:
- License fee and EDC charges are minimised.
- No land usage conversion charges.
- No IDC
