Assembly Election Dates Schedule MP Rajasthan Chhattisgarh Telangana

Election Commission of India has announced the legislative assembly election dates & schedule for voting in 5 states namely Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh (2 Phase), Mizoram & Telangana. The election results for general elections in these five states will be declared on 11 December 2018. People can check their name in the final publication of electoral rolls (voters list) and download their voter id card to caste their important vote as per the schedule mentioned in this point.

EC announces Vidhan sabha (legislative assembly) election dates are for 230 assembly seats in MP, 90 seats in Chhattisgarh, 200 seats in Rajasthan, 40 seats in Mizoram and 119 seats in Telangana. The Model Code of Conduct (chunav aachar sanhita) comes into effect immediately from now onwards and is applicable to all candidates, political parties and respective state governments.

Election commission has made this announcement for the conduct of elections on 6 October 2018.

1. Vidhan Sabha Election Dates in Chhattisgarh

The elections in Chhattisgarh for 90 seats are going to be contested in 2 phases. Chhattisgarh citizens can cast their vote for their choice of political party on 12 November 2018 (Phase 1) and 20 November 2018 (Phase 2). Check complete schedule here:-

The date of Final publication of electoral rolls in respect of Chhattisgarh, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh is 27 November 2018, Rajasthan is 28 November 2018, Telangana is 12 December 2018. Just check your name in the final voters list to caste your important vote. There are 1.81 crore electors in Chhattisgarh, 4.94 crore electors in Madhya Pradesh, 7.6 lakh voters in Mizoram, 4.75 crore voters in Rajasthan and 2.61 crore voters in Telangana. EC along with union government will ensure that the elections gets completed peacefully in these 5 states.
