Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) will soon launch a new Pratham mobile application for its citizens. People can perform Pratham App Download to book bus tickets through online mode. It is a first-of-its-kind mobile app to be launched on 20 July 2020. The main motive is to encourage cashless transactions among passengers during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic outbreak.
In the first phase, the Pratham app will be launched on pilot basis in 19 RTC bus depots across the state. All the passengers who makes use of this Pratham mobile application & book bus tickets online will get benefits of discount or cashback.
The AP government has resumed government transport services on various routes while strictly following social distancing guidelines issued by Home Ministry.
APSRTC Pratham App Download – Book Bus Tickets Online
APSRTC Pratham App will enable passengers to book the tickets for all buses right from super luxury services to others through online mode. The AP State Road Transport Corporation resumed its intrastate operations without bus conductors from 21 May 2020. Accordingly, the passengers were advised to reserve their tickets for all the services online. On getting good response from the passengers, the RTC management has decided to develop Pratham mobile application.
Pratham Mobile App Download from Google Play Store
The new Pratham App by APSRTC is developed after considering the suggestions from the online ticket booking agencies. The price of a bus ticket will be reduced by 5% if the passenger uses the app to book the ticket. The new app will soon remain available on the google play store for downloading purposes. As soon as the app is listed on the google playstore, we will update it here.
Pilot Project for Pratham Mobile Application
The pilot project for the launch of Pratham App for booking bus tickets online will be carried out in 19 depots:-
Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Nellore, Kurnool, Rajamahendravaram, Eluru, Srikakulam, Anakapalle, Machilipatnam, Vizianagaram, Guntur, Amalapuram, Ravulapalem, Chittoor and Tadipatri.
Facilitating the Bus Conductors
This APSRTC Pratham mobile app will facilitate bus conductors in complying with the social distancing norms. In a recent survey conducted the APSRTC, corporation came to know that 60-70% employees are using smartphones. Subsequently, it will become an easy task for the employees to generate bus tickets online. Recently, APSRTC has also directed its officials to procure smartphones for the online bus ticket generation purpose.
